In the long history of the Alpine Junior World Ski Championships, Austria has been awarded with 282 medals (96 gold, 98 silver and 99 bronze medals), Switzerland has won 138 medals (48 gold, 52 silver and 38 bronze ones). The Italian team has been awarded with 39 gold medals, 35 silver medals and 38 bronze medals, for a total of 112 times, ranked third on the nation ranking, after Austria and Switzerland.
Fourth place for the United Stated with 66 medals (27 gold, 21 silver and 18 bronze ones), followed by Germany with a higher overall medals total but less titles ( 26 gold medals, 29 silver and 23 bronze), Norway with 78 medals (25 gold, 29 silver and 24 bronze), France with 73 medals (23 gold, 17 silver and 33 bronze), Sweden with 49 medals (21 gold, 17 silver and 11 bronze), Slovenia with 40 (13 gold, 11 silver and 16 bronze) and Canada with 36 medals (10 gold, 10 silver and 16 bronze).
